ml81 0 Posted February 14, 2003 I now have a W2K CD with integrated SP3. Is there any way to integrate the latest version of apps & utils like Internet Explorer, Media Player or DirectX versions on a W2K CD in a similar way? ;( Best Reagrds Mattias Share this post Link to post

DosFreak 2 Posted February 15, 2003 That's not integration. Rather it's loading the files silently after setup. So far no one has gone to the trouble of actually replacing the files one by one to for an SP like integration, for good reason considering that it would be alot of effor for little gain. Mr.Guvernment 0 Posted February 15, 2003 ^^^ exatcly - take the few mins on a high speed con. to get the latest IE - perhaps if SP 4 final comes out, it will have all IE updates and someone will "release" a version of win2k sp4 integrated, or you can make your own. Share this post Link to post
adamvjackson 0 Posted February 15, 2003 I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that with SP3 and newer, there would only be hotfixes for IE 5.01... I don't recall where I read this, can someone confirm or deny? Perhaps it was in the SP4 release notes... That would make sense as 2000 came with IE 5.01. Share this post Link to post
