Intra-Galactic Battles - PC Speaker sound prob

This is a very old Star Trek clone DOS game that uses PC speaker for sound and each time you fire your weapons it freezes (supposed to make a sound then). I tired turnning it with VDMS sound for dos and it does the same. It runs fine if you run it from a dos box on a win95/98 system but not on my win2k system. Applicatoin compatiblity toolkit did not work.

use a program called Virtual PC... IGB will run nicely in an older PC envirament like most game of that era
