C&C Generals Problems...

Recommended Posts

ok i have the following hardware setup

AMD XP 1800

512 Mb DDR Ram

ATI Radeon 7400 64Mb Graphics Card

When i am playing C&C Generals it regularly crashes to the desktop with an error message saying

"sorry, a serious error occured"

or alternatively it reboots itself without any warning

Please help!!!

im using Version 1 of Generals i might install the latest patch to see if that solves anything, any other feedback would be good!!

Thanks

dont install the 1.2 patch . goto the 1.3 ..but its all online fixes. .. mabie you should install the catilist 3.1 for your card.. and if you have a via chipset put the latest 4in1 on.

alson have no virus scanner running when you play it..its a nown bug.

how about the jumpy video??

would direct X 9 Beta make it any better??

forget direct x 9 beta..the full version is on microsofts site.

also double check you have no virus scanner running ..

if it does it again... reinstall the game and 1.3 patch. after you have the 4in1s on.
