"How do you disable the "Logon" screen in Win

I am trying to disable the logon screen in Windows 2000 to keep it from coming up and logging on automatically. Can someone tell me how to do this?.....Thx in advance.

So you do want it to auto login?

 

If so:

 

Control Panel -> Users and Passwords -> Uncheck 'Users must enter a username and password to use this computer'

 

If not, check that box.

Hey....thx for the tip...Yes...I DO want it to "Autologin".......but this is for Windows 2000......not for XP

Ok, I just wanted to ensure that I understood you properly.

 

 

BTW, those instructions were for Windows 2000. Let me/us know if they do not work for you.
