clutch 1 Posted March 2, 2003 Can anyone recommend a good ripper to Ogg/Vorbis for XP? I have GRip for Linux that I will be using on my media PC, but I would like one for my laptop which is running XP. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
Champion_R 0 Posted March 2, 2003 There's a set of command-line tools which shouldn't be too hard to find. Also I think CD-EX can encode Ogg too. Share this post Link to post
Xiven 0 Posted March 2, 2003 Yeah, I'd recommend CDex. Much like Audiograbber etc, but free. Share this post Link to post
adamvjackson 0 Posted March 2, 2003 Also, EAC should have vorbis support. Share this post Link to post

duhmez 0 Posted March 3, 2003 I second the vote for CDex. It's fantastic Share this post Link to post
adamvjackson 0 Posted March 3, 2003 I highly recommend CDex, and in fact that's what I use with LAME 3.92. However, if you have scratched or otherwise damaged CDs, Exact Audio Copy's 'Secure' extraction mode is better, at least with the currently released versions. I note that, because there is talk of adding a similar feature to a future version of CDex. Share this post Link to post
