TNT - working, but...

Recommended Posts

Ok, I got my CL TNT working using the drivers from here:

http://www.betaos.com/drivers/Tempvid.zip

They work great in Quake 2, but in Quake 3 it's *super* *extra* dark! smirk Brighness slider does nothing either. Oh, but it's fine when I run it in a window - great.. wink.gif

Nope - in game brightness things don't do a thing. smirk

Must be a driver issue..

I have a CL tnt, and it works great, using the 3.65 drivers.... Try those, I don't remember where i got them if you can't find them drop me a line and I'll send them to you...

well...you must be doing something wrong cause the Q3Tweak uses Q3's own settings and it doenst have anything to do with drivers....if the drivers work for Q2 then they will work for Q3.....I build gaming systems and i install the app on all machines that i use with win2k....it works good and im only using the tnt 3.56 drivers

Someone suggest to me that I try just fiddling with the brightness slider in the menu - I slid it all the way to the right: no change (still dark as hell); I slid it to the left, and about halfway back, suddenly the brightness kicked in! *Very* weird, but hey - Q3 is working for me in Win2K! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

To think I was about to go back to Win98 just cuz o this..
