Ubik 0 Posted January 6, 2000 Ok, I got my CL TNT working using the drivers from here: http://www.betaos.com/drivers/Tempvid.zip They work great in Quake 2, but in Quake 3 it's *super* *extra* dark! Brighness slider does nothing either. Oh, but it's fine when I run it in a window - great.. Share this post Link to post
RoGuE 0 Posted January 6, 2000 ive got a program called Q3Tweak....it works good for me in Q3...you can adjust a lot of things including your gamma and intensity... ive got it on my website http://home.swbell.net/quakin Share this post Link to post
Ubik 0 Posted January 6, 2000 Nope - in game brightness things don't do a thing. Must be a driver issue.. Share this post Link to post
KalleAnka 0 Posted January 7, 2000 I have a CL tnt, and it works great, using the 3.65 drivers.... Try those, I don't remember where i got them if you can't find them drop me a line and I'll send them to you... Share this post Link to post
RoGuE 0 Posted January 7, 2000 well...you must be doing something wrong cause the Q3Tweak uses Q3's own settings and it doenst have anything to do with drivers....if the drivers work for Q2 then they will work for Q3.....I build gaming systems and i install the app on all machines that i use with win2k....it works good and im only using the tnt 3.56 drivers Share this post Link to post
Ubik 0 Posted January 7, 2000 Someone suggest to me that I try just fiddling with the brightness slider in the menu - I slid it all the way to the right: no change (still dark as hell); I slid it to the left, and about halfway back, suddenly the brightness kicked in! *Very* weird, but hey - Q3 is working for me in Win2K! To think I was about to go back to Win98 just cuz o this.. Share this post Link to post
