sapiens74 0 Posted March 10, 2003 I have been using the backup utility and recently backed up all data on my system, to the sum of about 38 GBs or so. My question, if for some reason my system crashes or I need to reinstall will this be an image of my system as it stands now? Will the backup recover my whole system to the state it is in now with all the drivers and settings and such? Thanks Share this post Link to post
greypigeon 0 Posted March 11, 2003 The following helped me out a few times when the system crashed I have several partitions one for the operating system one on which I install my programs one for documents, swap, internet files, backup and so on Then I make an image (backup) of my c: partition (with the OS on it) When the system crashes, I only have to restore that image and everything will work fine again ! The program I use is Symantec ghost or Powerquest Drive Image Share this post Link to post
