adamvjackson 0 Posted March 16, 2003 Did you check on http://www.pricewatch.com or http://www.crucial.com? Those would be my first stop in shopping for RAM... As far as the 'standard' speed, many chipsets use DDR266/2100, but your system may vary. If you use the memory selector on Crucial's web site, you can find out exactly what your system uses. BladeRunner 0 Posted March 17, 2003 As always Crucial is a good place to get the idea of RAM prices. A 256MB PC2700 non-ECC will set you back about £32 inc VAT 512MB PC2700 non-ECC about £62 inc VAT 1GB modules are still a lot of money. Crucial can do a 1GB PC2100 for £416 inc VAT Far too expensive for the average user, but if you want that maximum supported 4GB of RAM they are your only option. Share this post Link to post
Copernicus 0 Posted March 19, 2003 Well I just got a 512 PC-2700 DIMM from Newegg for $59. I sort of like Kingston RAM. Share this post Link to post
