Sparkhard 0 Posted March 18, 2003 I need help for a project at work. We have 30+ printers that we are connecting to a computer so that our customers can load a pic from a floppy or CD and then print it out on whichever printer they are looking to purchase. I want to set up a print user account with permission only to the CD ROM the floppy and printers. I would set file associations and things like that. I have to forbid any other settings that could change the wallpapaer or screen saver. I don't want "I have a huge c*ck" flashing on the screen saver just because the local 8th graders seem to think its hilarious. Thanks guys, Sparkhard Share this post Link to post

DS3Circuit 0 Posted March 19, 2003 You can accomplish most of everything that you wish to do through Local Group Policies (if this is a workgroup environmet), NTFS permissions, and if you need to isolate them further ... here are links to some 3rd party applications. www.deepfreezeusa.com www.fortres.com HTH Share this post Link to post
