New graphics card game problems

I just got a new GeForce4 MX440-SE graphics card so I can play Dark Age of Camelot on line.

The problem is that Whenever I try to run it the game pushes me back to Windows before it's even through loading.

I'm running Win98 SE with all the updates. This computer has a VIA C3 Samuel2 1GigaPro CPU with 128 MB Ram.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running plain old DAoC.

Try uninstalling the game, then re-installing to the default location that the installer offers (something like c:\DAOC\)

 

For some very strange reason, DAOC is very touchy about where you install it. I had this problem, and the only suggestion the tech support guys gave was "install it to the default folder". I tried it, and it worked!

 

Don't know why, though. The only reason I can think of is that it's bad programming... ;(
