Christianb 8 Posted March 25, 2003 Hi Gang, I wondering what the official term is for a DVD Jewel case. Are they called clam shells? Thanks, Christian Blackburn Share this post Link to post
Bursar 0 Posted March 26, 2003 A jewel case is a jewel case. A clam shell case is one of these: http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/cshells.jpg Share this post Link to post
duhmez 0 Posted March 26, 2003 If you store adult movies on your dvd media with it, then it is a bearded clam case. Share this post Link to post
Christianb 8 Posted March 26, 2003 I liked the bearded clam case joke . So is there a specific term for those large black cases that 99.99% of Movie DVDs ship in? Thanks, Christian Share this post Link to post
Bursar 0 Posted March 26, 2003 Not really. I think they're just called DVD cases Share this post Link to post
Christianb 8 Posted March 26, 2003 Hi Bursar, Thanks for letting me know. The issue is I bought a lot of 300 Imax: Africa the Serengeti DVDs and they didn't come with their appropriate cases. Rather they all came in non-airtight plastic sleeves. I would like to communicate this effectively to potential buyers on Ebay. By the way if anybody wants one or more for gifts they're 6 dollars. It's narated by James Earl Jones which is kinda cool. Thanks, Christian Blackburn Share this post Link to post
AndyFair 0 Posted March 26, 2003 Excellent, all I need now is an Imax projector... AndyF Share this post Link to post
