IMoM 0 Posted January 7, 2000 I've bought a Pioneer DVD-ROM DVD-303 SCSI a few days ago. When I first installed it, it has properly been detected by Win2k, drivers were installed, then I installed WinDVD 2000 and I managed to play a DVD with it and my G400 DualHead. Then, I moved some hardwares in my Tower, and when I reboot, problems started to appear. Either win2k wouldn't detect my SCSI burner, eventhough BIOS would, or it would if and only if I added my SCSI HDD. Right now, Win2k detect everything (back to old configuration) but when I try to play a DVD, I get to different error messages: -PowerDVD : error code (don't remember the number) -WinDVD 2000 : play the first part ("Warning") over and over again... If any one can help me, I would appreciate a lot, Thanks, IMoM Share this post Link to post
radx 0 Posted January 9, 2000 Hi, If i had a problem such as this, i'd format and reinstall. I'm not sayin it's the best choice, but you can always be sure that there isn't anything lurking around if you do a clean install if you have what it seams like a driver issue here... By the way, i heard that PowerDVD didn't work in windows NT4 if you were doin Software mode, it requires a hardware card. So i heard anyways, not sure what it really means. Good luck, sorry i can't give you a better advice. /radx Share this post Link to post
