vaquero horres 0 Posted April 1, 2003 I have a AMD athlon 1.25 ghz with 1.25 gb of ram with a geforce mx/mx 400 with 64 mb of ram. 60 g hard drive. i loaded splinter cell and have started it. The monitor cuts on and then off and goes back to desktop and gives this error HELP i wanna play this game::::: General protection fault! LordCrew 0 Posted April 1, 2003 In your Geforce "Performance and quality settings" set the "Intellisample Settings" to application instead of quality that should do the trick. I'd suggest to turn of anti-aliasing off until the next patch (1.02) which will support antialiasing properly. Be sure to have at least detonators 41.09 or better the latest 43.45. vaquero horres 0 Posted April 2, 2003 Got it working now i have sound trouble.....muns fine for 10 min then it sounds like fuzz you can here the normal sounds but there is a high amount of fuzzzzzzzzz in the background it pitches up then down in cycles. If I quit out of the game to the main menu the go to quit game the are you sure screen pops up. as soon as it pops up the fuzzzz sound stops....dont know what it is could i get some more help.......????? ;( ;( Share this post Link to post
LordCrew 0 Posted April 2, 2003 The settings i mentionned are located in control panel->display settings ->settings->advanced. I heard about those sound problems aswell, if I were you I'll go check the ubisoft splinter cell forum, pretty much every problem has an answer of there. Share this post Link to post
