Mr.Guvernment 0 Posted April 13, 2003 Have you tried differnet versions of drivers for your 4600 video card? Possible sound card drivers as well? Do you have a VIA chipset motherboard? Share this post Link to post
Terry 0 Posted April 28, 2003 I had a VIA motherboard, as did my brother. We both replaced them because of problems we were having with our GeForce cards. If you do have a VIA chipset, try this link for some help as well. http://www.viaarena.com We found help for some of the problems we had there. It might help you as well. My last AMD cpu was a 5x86, so I don't know much about the lastest chips they have. I do believe that the AMD Irongates (not sure what that is) had some kind of problem with GeForce cards. If this is your case, check out the nVidia site for information on that. Share this post Link to post
dalailama 0 Posted September 9, 2004 hey, i think its a problem with athlons/amds/gfx video cards cause i read another page where a guy has problems running it, and he has an athlon, and a gfx 5600.... i got amd 64bit asus motherboard, 3200+ processor, and a gfx 5700 256 meg video card, so it should run, but i doubt it will once i patch it, looks like athlon/amd/gfx users r screwed here Share this post Link to post
