Recommended Posts

ActiveXperts Network Monitor is the leading solution for monitoring all aspects of your LAN and WAN servers, workstations and devices. For years, System Administrators, Network Operators and Helpdesk employees have relied upon the power, flexibility and reliability of the ActiveXperts Network Monitor tool.

The mission of the product is to maximize the reliability of your production servers and applications through the automatic detection and correction of problems and issues.

The product runs as a service on the Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 platform.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor supports Windows, UNIX, Linux and Novell platforms.

When problems are detected, you're immediately notified by network message, e-mail, pager, or SMS message. When a failure is detected, the network monitor tool will try to correct the problem.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor is delivered with powerful, pre-defined function sets, including functions for: Active Directory, ADSI, DNS, Disk Drive, Disk Space, DNS, Event Log (with content checking), Exchange 2000, File Existence (with content checking), FTP site, HTTP(s) (with content checking), ICMP/Ping, MS SQL Database, Novell NDS, NTDS (NT4 compatible DS), ODBC Database, Oracle Databases (SQLNet), POP3 Mail server, Printer, Process, Service, SMTP Mail server, TCP port (with handshaking), UDP, UNIX Shell Script (RSH), Users & groups, VBScript (custom scripts) and WMI.

VBScript plays a key role in ActiveXperts Network Monitor: operators can write their own monitoring functions and add them to the configuration. The ActiveXpers Network Monitor engine can process up to 32 VBScript functions simultaneously.

Results are viewed by the Manager application, which can be installed on any 32 bit Microsoft OS in your network. Different privileges allow helpdesk employees to only view the results, while operators can make modifications to the configuration.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor has advanced logging and reporting capabilities.
