It seems to have the protocols but does not fully operate

PPTP is native to NT4.

 

L2TP as well as 3rd party VPN solutions such as SonicWall require an addon.

Running nt4 sp6a with exchange 5.5. I installed PPTP driver, and it KILLED my machine.

 

A good 12 hours to get it back running again.
