ConQueso 0 Posted May 15, 2003 Anyone know anything about this game? Here's the cool part: you can play multiplayer, one person the pilot, the other person the copilot of the same helicopter. The problem is that for some reason, the pilot HUD isn't showing the direction of the copilot's aim. This indicator is locked to the center mark of the crafts heading. In single player, when pilot is in TADS mode, the pilot has this carot indicate the directon the gunner is looking so he can tell which way to point should the gunner want to use any missile/rocket weapons. It also shows a croshair of exactly where the gunner is looking. Has anyone else experienced this bug? Both computers (XP and 2K) have all the latest winupdates: critical, recommended, and latest drivers as well, and have patched the game. Have tried with TCP/IP and IPX. I'm guessing it's most likely a game glitch, but who knows. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone even played this game? It's an excellent game for coop multiplayer, except for this little bug. WRX_Rocky 0 Posted May 15, 2003 You talking about the game Gunship! by the old and sorley missed Microprose? Cuz sad to say, since HasCrap and its freaking Pokemon cr*p took it over some years ago (tell me WHY would an anti-war game company buy out the BEST sim company in the world, and destroy it????), there was only ONE patch, and notheing ever again. And what is worse, there will never be another Falcon game, and my wish for the M1 Tank Platoon III game were dashed as well. And what really hurts, was that M1TP3 was going to interphase with Gunship! too!!!!!!! Imagine what that would have been like? But as to your problem, can't really answer it other than if its a bug, and you have the ONLY patch ever made for it, then you are stuck with it forever Damn Hascr*p!!!!!! Makes me want to toss away all my GI Joe's for what they did! All for some stupid cartoon character But I did just think of one thing. Inforgramme did buy MP from Hascr*p not too long ago. Perhaps a letter to them might help???? Share this post Link to post
