NascarFool 0 Posted January 11, 2000 OK , I have tried all the SBLive fixes with no luck. Now I am stuck with no sound at all. Can someone please tell me how to get the Win2000 drivers back. I will live with 2 speakers until Creative get's new drivers out. [This message has been edited by NascarFool (edited 11 January 2000).] Share this post Link to post
YuppieScum 0 Posted January 11, 2000 Easiest way is to yank the card, uninstall the drivers, then drop the card back in and let the h/w detection deal with it - worked for me! Share this post Link to post
NascarFool 0 Posted January 11, 2000 I tried that and Win2K said it couldn't find any drivers for it. If someone were to check the driver details in the Device Manager , I should be able to extract them from the Win2K CD. Thanks. Boy do I feel stupid. Quake3 just ain't the same with no sound. YuppieScum 0 Posted January 11, 2000 Odd. SOunds like something is fsck'd. The driver is called "Create SB Live! Basic (WDM)" in the device manager... Share this post Link to post
NascarFool 0 Posted January 12, 2000 Reinstalled Win2K as an upgrade. All sound now restored. I will live with two speakers until Creative gets off their a** and gets out some drivers. Share this post Link to post
