jrholt 0 Posted June 24, 2003 Hello everyone I have 2 computers sharing a broadband connection through a Linksys 4 port Router. Computer #1 has a dialup modem installed that I use for sending faxes. I would also like to use computer #2 to send faxes and use the dialup modem in Computer #1 to send them. Is it possible to do what I want? Thank you Jack Holt Share this post Link to post
duhmez 0 Posted June 24, 2003 Fetch yourself the program "Modemshare millenium" It works relly well for sharing a modem. Share this post Link to post
jmmijo 1 Posted June 24, 2003 ICS is supposed to let you do the same thing, I myself have never gotten this funtion to work properly but it was more an experiment for my own knowledge then for any real world application. I'll have to note that app for future reference, thanks duhmez Share this post Link to post
CyberGenX 0 Posted June 25, 2003 WinFax has network fax sharing as well. Share this post Link to post
lorddraxar 0 Posted June 25, 2003 You might as well want to try WinRoute. I did use it when I had a dial-up internet connection. While I found it limited for some games, it did work well. It even has options to block the connection in some hours so it won't stay connected all night long. WinGate also does that but its stability is still an issue. Share this post Link to post
