sapiens74 0 Posted June 26, 2003 Yes you can. All you have to do is set the profile path to the shared directory where profile exists. Although You will only access it remotely from one machine, and the other will be local Share this post Link to post
DS3Circuit 0 Posted June 26, 2003 Just be carefull about what you keep in the roaming profile We have had users save rather large files in their My Docs and were forced to remove certain file extensions from being saved upon their log off *.mp3 *.rar etc etc Just a little warning Share this post Link to post
cazzman 0 Posted June 27, 2003 thanks guys, but, where are the profiles kept? Share this post Link to post
DS3Circuit 0 Posted June 27, 2003 In a share (with the correct permissions) that you create yourself. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302082 Share this post Link to post

tiberinsky 0 Posted February 17, 2005 I was wondering, can you specify exactly what info is carried to the network for Roaming access? In other words, can I note for the profile to not include my music folder? thanks Share this post Link to post
theefool 0 Posted February 28, 2005 Why can't you just put your music folder in a folder that is shared as music folder. Just like your profile folder. Share this post Link to post
