Defledermaus 0 Posted July 3, 2003 Hey all, I'm looking into getting a DVD_Rom (not writer) for use in watching DVD's while at the 'puter. I have priced out some models and the reviews of the brands go either way. Any preferential unit models and manuf's you could suggest would be great. Thanks in advance! Share this post Link to post

Copernicus 0 Posted July 4, 2003 Pioneer's are great, but I now have a Mitsumi DVD-ROM and it's nice. It's quiet and fast(16x DVD 50x CD). It happens to be an ATA-100 drive. Mitsumi just started making DVD-ROM's and DVD writers recently. I got this one from newegg.com for $33.00. Share this post Link to post
