djelite 0 Posted August 8, 2003 Only thing I did different on my re-install of XP Pro, was have My Computer be set up as a "Standard PC", instead of a "ACPI-PC". (For music production reasons.) It will read DATA and MUSIC CDs but, that's it. I see no problems in DEVICE MANAGER. Any insight would be greaty appreciated. Share this post Link to post

Thanks fore the expedient reply! It's still a 'no go' though. Living in Hawaii? We're lucky indeed. Share this post Link to post
sapiens74 0 Posted August 8, 2003 I had this problem a while back. I had to switch the cables out. It would only read when it was by itself on the secondary IDE channel as master. Share this post Link to post
