ViolentGreen 0 Posted August 27, 2003 Is there a way to enable 2000s personalized menus feature (where it hides the programs that aren't used often) in XP? Share this post Link to post
Tomay 0 Posted August 27, 2003 They are enabled by default. You can right click on the start and select properties and there you'll find this setting. Share this post Link to post

I can tell you from running both xp home and pro that they are not enabled by default. I know on 2000 the option is on the general tab under the taskbar/start properties. I have yet to find it in XP. ReadError 0 Posted August 27, 2003 If you don't have XP Styles enabled, the option is at the same place as in 2000 With XP styles enabled, I don't remember, I look later at home. Share this post Link to post
ReadError 0 Posted August 28, 2003 Ok, with XP Styles enabled, you must use the Classic start menu and click the Customize button to see the "Use personalized menus" option Share this post Link to post

I am suprised it isn't available in the XP Start menu. I thought that was a erally great UI innovation Share this post Link to post
