USB,NIC,Monitors,Voodoo2

Recommended Posts

I can't get my USB controller to work (build 2195)

And the on-motherboard NIC Intel 21143 doesn't work either!

Furthermore, I use the voodoo2-drivers posted on this site, but no games can find my card.

Also I can't change monitors from multiple monitors; 2 default monitors and one generic television to the actual Compaq MV700 monitor.

I got lost of USB-devices and a network, so these problems kind of makes W2K unusable to me!

Any ideas?

I have a darn Compaq Presario 5670,ATI Rage Pro LT, and it is included in MS's HCL.

I've fixed the NIC and USB problems, I had to reinstall, disabling ACPI (By pressing F5 during Installation and selecting Standard PC instead of ACPI enabled system)

The other prob's remain, though...

try using the voodoo drivers posted on Cham's web site:

http://win2kbox.cjb.net/

and about the monitors Im not sure what the problem is I have two monitors one on a TNT1 and one on a TNT2U. I can turn each one off and select each one as my primary monitor and vice versa.

just uncheck the extend my desktop for the cideo card/monitor u want to kill and it should work, or am I missing something?

Thanks.

The voodoo2 link isn't working, and on the new site it points to I can't find that file...

About the monitors: they just turn up again if I uninstall them, the correct monitor turns up in the list, but I can't select any other monitor than "generic television".
