ghost_zero 0 Posted September 9, 2003 Hi, 1.)rograms don't work then, you need to unpack them to get them to work. But these programs work perfectly well under Windows XP. 2.) asking this because I find one program which I think is the same reason why it don't work, although it doesn't use UPX and it it works at the beginning, but as soon as I press a button in this program it closes (crashes) but again it worked perfectly well under Windows XP. Using Windows XP compatibility mode doesn't work. I think there may need to be some otpion(s) on Windows 2003 turned different. For example in the 2nd case I know it crashes because of an "Access Violation" further more it says that it can't load symbols. For the first program, you may know SysInternals FileMonitor, there normally the icon of the program is displayed in this case not, unpacked yes but not packed, and instead of all statements there (which were much - even without Prefetch) packed in Windows 2003 Server I only get 3 statements there for opening, query and closing. I hope anybody can help me here. Thanks in advance. Share this post Link to post

ghost_zero 0 Posted September 9, 2003 thought so too, i go through them: comparing Windows XP services on my notebook and the Windows 2003 services and Windows Server 2003 on my PC and they should now be equal. Does anybody have any other idea? Share this post Link to post
