I have used NEC, VIA, and something else that i don't remember, they are all the same. (never used adaptec, or belkin) Share this post Link to post
adamvjackson 0 Posted October 12, 2003 I would recommend Adaptec, simply for the probability of longer support lifetime vs. Belkin, who primarily manufactures cables. Although they probably do use a similar chipset, and most new(er) OS's have native support or patches to add USB 2.0 support, my opinion stays the same. Share this post Link to post
videobruce 0 Posted October 21, 2003 Belkin AFAIK is overpriced Chinese garbage! Especially their cables! Share this post Link to post
ace2kx 0 Posted December 30, 2005 Belkin is the best IMHO. They are very compatible as their chip uses the Nec chipset and fast too. Share this post Link to post
