dougmach 0 Posted October 1, 2003 Are there any chipset drivers for the AMD 760MPX under windows 2003 server. I just bought a Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW-P board, I see AMD has chipset drivers for win 2000 should I install those or should I not worry about installing any chipset drivers? Just curious because this is my first AMD chipset board, I'm used to the VIA chipset and have always used thier 4-in-1 drivers. Thanks in advance for any advice/recomendations Share this post Link to post

duhmez 0 Posted October 1, 2003 It will install and run, that's for sure, ubt using default drivers. For enhanced performance, and perhaps fixes for isues that may arise, you will want proper signed 2003 server drivers. All you can do is squak at AMD and gigabyte to provide proper drivers. I woult not pt 2000 or xp drivers on it, that's for sure. (I've been running the amd 760 MPX chipset (dual amd 2600+ MP) for some time now on windows 2000 and it has been great. (pecifically the asus a7m266-d) Share this post Link to post
