arlopez 0 Posted October 20, 2003 I'm a little confused on how to approach this problem . . . I want to be able to access a single instance of my Outlook 2000 data; email / contacts / calendar, from any one of a number of Win98 clients. I'm running a WinNT 4 Server. I thought it would be as simple as having the .pst file on the public network drive, but after reading some articles on the Microsoft site, I'm not so sure. Plus, .pst doesn't seem to be up[censored] consistently as I view it from one workstation to another. Could someone please point me in the right direction? It would seem there'd be a paper out there somewhere on the steps to get this done right - I just can't seem to find it! Thanks in advance for your help. duhmez 0 Posted October 20, 2003 That wil work, but you must make sure all clients are disconectd from it before any other user connects. Exchange server will work too but may be overkill ($$$$$$) Share this post Link to post
DS3Circuit 0 Posted October 21, 2003 PST is a flat file architecture and is inapropriate for what you are asking. Exchange .... Domino .... Groupwise would be better choices. Share this post Link to post
