mjpuczko 0 Posted December 8, 2003 i uninstalled norton antivirus from my home pc, which has win98SE on it. uninstall went fine. but i went to reboot & nothing!!! it just hangs there. i tried a boot-up disk & put norton cd back in. then it did a scan on every file, which took about 10 hours. but now hte screens just black. not real sure how just uninstalling norton can make this happen. i really hope there's a way to get it back up, i'd rather not have to reinstall everything.
