Bong^man 0 Posted January 14, 2000 I am getting ready to buy a scanner, but I want it to work in win2k with the USB interface. After reading reviews, it seems to best scanners are Epson and HP. I have seen in the forum that HP isn't planning on making win2k drivers. Otherwise I'd get a 4200c... I also like Epson's 636U, but I can't find any info on win2k support for it.. Does anyone know what Epson's plans are, or have any scanner suggestions? Share this post Link to post
midiboy 0 Posted January 15, 2000 Hi there ! I do have a 4200C and no W2K drivers ... want my scanner ? *gg* No, seriously ... if you can, tell HP that you would buy a scanner from them if they started developing W2K drivers ! I will try to find an email adress you can write to. Or maybe Hal can help you ... he works for HP. He may have an adress for you. Write to him at hal@null.net if its not too much trouble for you. :-)) Alex Share this post Link to post
Bullet 0 Posted January 17, 2000 My Agfa 1212u (USB) Works perfectly with W2K final. The latest Scanwise SW also works. Share this post Link to post
Llion 0 Posted January 17, 2000 Hi, Microtek SCSI Scanner Scanmaker-Series works fine under W2k, the normal NT drivers do the trick! (By the way: optically these scanners give the optimum results in MHO) Llion Share this post Link to post
