Bootykika 0 Posted November 13, 1999 Ok. Here's the Dilly. I just recently purchased a Soundblaster Live MP3+ and tried installing it on my NT4 - SP5 system. Well at first, the card was not autodectected. Then when I tried installing the drives off the CD through the Multimedia window under the Control panel, my system froze. I also tried running the install program off the CD but that freezes as well. I've tried reinstalling my OS and it still freeze my NT system up w/o any service packs. I'm not runnuing a Dual processor system either. Someone please help! Share this post Link to post
Ben 0 Posted November 22, 1999 I get the best results installing the SBLive using SP3 and using the CD installation program. I've never had a problem doing it that way and I have a dual processor setup. Then, once the card is installed, I patch up to the latest SP. Ben Share this post Link to post
Ben 0 Posted January 22, 2000 Also there's a file you need from Creative Labs called sblnt4up.exe that will allow you to update your drivers after you have patched up to SP 4,5, or 6. Head over to creative and look under support, then drivers or files, then select NT and SBLive! from the lists and hit search. Share this post Link to post
