duhmez 0 Posted January 27, 2004 I will have one digital internet connection to a hub in computer lab all on switches. I want the rest of the computers to go wireless. The building is too long for one wap, I did tests and 2 waps will cover the building. How can I set it so the waps will rebroadcast eith others traffic so one end of bullding can go over to other end of building? thelab will be wired and must provide a proxy internet conection for all the WIFI computers in the offices. I've used wifi units before, but I have never trie to use 2 and have them connect, no idea how to do it. Share this post Link to post

madacgrav 0 Posted January 28, 2004 yeah setup a wireless bridge http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps458/ps460/index.html Cisco offers some good products for this, this is the low end one and it just gets better and more expensive from here Share this post Link to post
duhmez 0 Posted January 29, 2004 I did more research and it turns out its autmoatic, just give each wap the same SSID and channel/encryption. each wap will have no trouble reaching each other, its small building, just a little bit too big. Share this post Link to post
