silver_frost 0 Posted February 20, 2006 OMG I'm desperate. I'm running on XP sp2. I've installed the game. I have not patched it (and it keeps having an error about an old file when I try to). I've done everything LPH says. I've tried not putting the 32 bit command line, tried putting compatibility with 95/98, tried running on 16 bit at 800x600. It all doesn't work. Only thing I have not tried is the dual boot thing. What is it? Does anyone have any other solution? Share this post Link to post
Chase 0 Posted March 1, 2006 Well, this thread is a little old now, but there are still posts in - so i hope for help. I got DK2 work on Win2000 again, but the "usual" errors occur. Crashes after several hours of play, no fireflies and goblins in the campain, and so on.. So I wanted to follow LPH's instructions and started looking for the Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit 3.0. Unfortunatly there's a new version out, which doesnt work on 2000. I looked anywhere to find it - anyone got an idea where it could be? Or maybe someone got it? Would be very nice if you could send it to me in this case. Well, thx for any help. I want DK2 back [Edited by Chase on 2006-02-28 23:43:06] Share this post Link to post
