tpunder 0 Posted January 23, 2000 I am trying to get my IntelliMouse Explorer to work with USB but when I plug it into the USB port it goes through its hardware detection and then says that there was an error. If I go into the device manager it shows the yellow '?' next to USB Device and under properties it says that the drivers are not installed. I already have the Intelli Point software installed for it. I have an Asus P5A with AMD k6/2 500. I am forced to run the mouse with the PS/2 adapter. I really want to get it working with USB so any ideas? Share this post Link to post
Shrink 0 Posted January 23, 2000 I would be looking at a bios update as a possible solution. You can also check out www.usbworkshop.com as a possible source of info (check out the discussions section there). I have a whole bunch of usb peripherals (including the intellimouse explorer and the MS Keyboard Pro) and they all work better in win2k than in win98. ------------------ Shrink 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO! tpunder 0 Posted January 23, 2000 Thanks, I posted a message there so I will see if I get a reply. I have the latest BIOS update for my Asus P5A so I don't think that would be the problem. Share this post Link to post
