Marker0077 0 Posted February 21, 2004 I'd prefer if there was some DOS proggy or something that I could use to check & see exactly how much RAM this thing has. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
jmmijo 1 Posted February 21, 2004 You do mean how much installed memory there is on the motherboard ?!? If so then just look at the POST Banner screen when the machine first boots, this should show the amount of RAM installed, minus of course any shared video memory Share this post Link to post
Silver-Dagger 0 Posted February 22, 2004 I think you are looking for MEM command. Share this post Link to post
Marker0077 0 Posted February 22, 2004 The memory tested at startup is the base & extended memory - not RAM. I will try the mem command, thanks. I should hav thought of that but it's been awhile since I really used DOS. Share this post Link to post
