ViperZ2000 0 Posted March 4, 2004 I have about 10 models of the IBM laptop and most require a unique image. How can I get one image to load on all of these laptops and work properly? I'm using the VLK version of WinXP Pro Corp and have Sysprep 2.0. I just need some clear steps. Also, no AD yet. I already have one of these IBM images that will be used as the master. duhmez 0 Posted March 5, 2004 I did not properly read your post before. If they have the same hardware, merely syspres the machine before you make your image, or, even better IMO, goto www.sysinternals.com download NEWSID and skip the sysprepping, run NEWSID after you restore the image to a pc, and before you conect it to the network. If you want to rollout images for FREE (ghost costs plenty) check out Partimage at sourceforge. Share this post Link to post
