Catdog02 0 Posted March 18, 2004 Guys and Girls (if there are any). Tomorrow I have an urgent job for a client thats going to involve changing POP3 accounts on a windows SBS 2000 installation to SMTP Queue (ISP managed email). I've set up static ip on a nokia dsl modem they're using. As you're probably aware, the POP3 setup at the moment has the Exchange box downloading POP mail and delivering it to the clients on the network. The new setup is going to have the ISP's mail server send email straight to the server at my clients site - which will then be sent to the outlook clients. I need to know how to change the accounts from POP3 to SMTP. Unfortunatley, I haven't had a chance to look at Exchange 2000 and I have NO idea at all what I'm supposed to be doing. Please; if you have any pointers - post them ASAP. Cheers. Share this post Link to post
