supasirik 0 Posted April 1, 2004 I just bought RTX bluetooth dongle, but it doesn't come with driver for linux. They said it is an OEM product. What is the OEM product? I want to know where I can download a driver that allow me to connect this bluetooth with my linux laptop in order to get online through sony ericsson T616. Thank you. Share this post Link to post
jimf43 0 Posted April 1, 2004 OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. In this case that means that the item was intended to be sold to a PC assembler and not to the retail market. Bluetooth is (supposed to be) a standard, so, you should be able to run it on any Distro that supports that feature. I'm guessing that it's a kernel patch. Share this post Link to post
