Please some one help me with this problem on FF7, Been looking for days for a so

Hello,

I have looked ALL OVER the net for any way to solve this problem and have installed so many patches and upgrades and still had no luck. When I play Final Fantasy VII it hanges and crashes at the part when im on the train after a security alarm goes of when I move from the 2nd car to the 3rd car (this is right after going to the hide out for the 1st time). I have a 3.2 GZ PC and a Radeon 9600. Please anyone help me I am so close to giving up after over 2 weeks of looking and you guys are my last hope.
