Awaxx 0 Posted January 21, 2000 TweakUI (answer was given in application forum). Awx Share this post Link to post
ADX 0 Posted January 21, 2000 Actually TweakUI doesn't do it. All TweakUI has a setting for is the auto-run option. Auto-insert notification is different. Even with auto-run turned off the OS still checks the CD when you place it in the drive. That's what that little pause is. Share this post Link to post
radx 0 Posted January 21, 2000 Well, that's better than nothing, so where can i find it? their are quite alot of those tweak things out there... Thanks Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted January 21, 2000 I dont recommend taking Auto-Instert notification off. If you want to you have to goto the drive properties in the device manager and take it off. A lot of apps and things use it so thats why I said not to take it off. Share this post Link to post
Awaxx 0 Posted January 22, 2000 If I go where you said, there's nothing to. Awx Share this post Link to post
chameleon 0 Posted January 24, 2000 hmmm, tweaki is different than tweakui i presume, but tweaki has many many options.. 255 i believe, if you want to give that a try, there is a link to it in my files page. win2kbox.cjb.net Share this post Link to post
eugalaka 0 Posted January 25, 2000 I'm not sure about this, but I think under Tweak-UI, in the Paranoia tab, at the bottom are the options for "Things That Happen Behind Your Back". It has check boxes for play audio and data cd's automatically... Share this post Link to post

Loopz 0 Posted January 26, 2000 Here's how I turn it off, there may be another way though. hit start-run, type gpedit.msc look under "User Configuration", then under "Administrative Templates", then under "System"---you should see it towards the bottom, its called "Disable Autoplay" Set it to disabled and you should be good to go. Hope that helps Share this post Link to post
Bob Frantic 0 Posted January 29, 2000 I got mine to disable through PSXcopy. After selecting it to disable the autoinsert, I did have to reboot but it is off now! Check settings in burner software to see if it will turn that off. No problems other than I need to always find setup.exe hehehehe Share this post Link to post
NascarFool 0 Posted February 3, 2000 Wrong answer , right place. You have to click "enable" . I do not know why M$ did it that way. Enable will disable "Autorun". I hope that helps. Share this post Link to post
