Xserver won't start

I am trying to boot Fedora C2, but for some reason there is no xorg.conf fle to tell it what video and mouse settings to use. what would I type in "Vim" to create my own xorg.conf file. (I don't know the syntax") Help Please!

You should have been given the opportunity to configure your mouse and video at install. Did you not configure them then, or is it that the configuration you entered is just not working properly?

 

You don't need to create a file for X.org. You have two utilities that will better address both problems. As root go:

 

system-config-mouse [enter]

 

..for your mouse, and for the monitor:

 

system-config-display [enter]

 

Play with those, and tell me what you come up with. Those utilities *should* run without X windows.
