Recommended Posts

I just been wondering.. i have an ASUS board. with an Onboard AGP Graphic Adapter ( ATI ).. and i wanted to get an voodoo 3..since i can't disable the ATI, can i install the voodoo 3 PCI, and select it as the primary adapter under windows 2k ??..

In other words..can i have the 2 cards installed, and select which one i want to use under windows?

I have an Asus P2B98-XV board with an onboard ATI Rage Pro AGP, I have installed a Voodoo3 2000 PCI and disabled the ATI in the Device Manager. It works fine. I am asuming that you have an HP comp. If you have TV out, you can kiss it goodbye. It will only work with the ATI.

Sorry for the double post..

just one more thing, i went to device manager and properties for the ATI, but the option to disable it ( device usage ) it is not avaliable ( gray ).. i becomes avaliable only if i put the voodoo3 in? just to make sure before going out and get one =)
