Mark W 0 Posted February 3, 2000 If Windows Update does not show any "Critical Updates" does that mean I do NOT have the final version? I heard that MS found some huge security problem and posted an update, yet none show up for me. Does this mean that I will never be able to update this build (2195 is what it says)? YuppieScum 0 Posted February 3, 2000 Build 2195 is the final release version of Windows 2000. There are currently no Critical Updates available. The updates are only available as regular downloads. Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted February 4, 2000 There is no .3. At least not by Microsoft anyway. ------------------ C:\Dos C:\Dos\Run \Run\Dos\Run Share this post Link to post
KingGremlin 0 Posted February 5, 2000 The official retail version is 2195.3 but you won't find it labeled like that. There is no way to determine if you have 2195 (RTM), 3195.2 (the MSDN version) or 2195.3 (final retail). EddiE314 0 Posted February 5, 2000 There is no Build 2195.3 to my knowledge, 2195.1 RTM IS the final release. Share this post Link to post
YuppieScum 0 Posted February 5, 2000 ...and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. It's all the same code... (with the minor exception of the 120-day timebomb in some versions) Share this post Link to post
