hayes.paul 0 Posted September 21, 2004 I was given my work IBM 600e when I left, and it was loaded with Windows NT. I reloaded with XP. In setting up with my network at home, I changed it from the work domain to the workgroup "workgroup". When I restarted, I am unable to log on. I don't know the Administrator password and can't get it. Is there any way to bypass and get in? Share this post Link to post

adamvjackson 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Yep, I've used that boot CD many, many times. Now, it's included with the Ultimate Boot CD. /shameless plug Share this post Link to post
DS3Circuit 0 Posted September 21, 2004 I agree with APK OS migration is messy ... and very difficult to bullet proof. I remember migrating 50 or so IBM P3 towers from windows 95 to 2000. Had to write the stuff so part time IT folk could do it. Bios upgrades, mem upgrades, ghost backup, automated scripts, profiles and the list went on and on. Very cool deal there adam. I'll checkout your work. I remember about a year ago playing with APK's registry cleaner software. That was some pretty sweet stuff. I wonder how it ever turned out. Share this post Link to post
