adamvjackson 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Last time I looked (it's been a while) it was about 1.5GB from a fresh install. Share this post Link to post

Anyway I noticed when I did a couple of XP Pro reformats recently I think it started out around 2.6 GB utilisation for the SP1a level and with AV and SP2 and a few other things like Office climbed to around 5.2 GB for me. I am assuming you do not have SP2 on there yet - you'll want to slipstream that if you're aiming to save space, or maybe look into the nu-lite thing that really tightens up on space (should be able to google it up) Share this post Link to post
Malaris 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Oh dear.... Unless I'm mistaken (and knowing me that could well be the case )my windows xp home uses 5.5Gb from fresh when my PC has been reformatted. 1.Is this because I have home not pro? 2.Is this a bad thing? 3.Should I do something about this?
