chkdsk not valid drive windows xp

Please, a need Help. My PC is using Windows XP, when i turn on the PC, there is a message "Press F1 for boot or F2 for setup" more less.

I run Windows Recovery Console and type "chkdsk c:" and i got an error

"the specified drive is not valid, or there is no disk in drive",

i try with /p and /r parameters and is the same response.

also i run "MAP" and only display Drive a: and d:

 

what can i do Now. i don´t want losse my data.

Are your hard drives sitting on a SATA or RAID controller? If so, try moving them to a standard IDE port and see whether you can still see them.
