Coleco 0 Posted October 17, 2004 I am trying to install Chaos Gate but it wont work,The autorun will come up but when I try to install it I get this error. C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows apllications.Choose close to terminate the application. I have never gotten this error with any program up to today. I just did a check,And it seems that file doesnt even exist. Share this post Link to post
Uriel 0 Posted October 18, 2004 try running setup from command line with -lgntforce parameter. Im not sure if that will help.. but may be worth trying. and make sure you have SP4 installed. Share this post Link to post
rmielech 0 Posted February 6, 2005 Do a search for autoexec.nt and when you find it, put it in your system32 folder. It should install after that. If you don't have that file, your friends might on their systems. I had to do this for a few games. But be warned, Chaos Gate most likely won't work anyway. Basically it just isn't compatible with XP or NT for whatever reason. Many have tried and failed. Share this post Link to post
