ws6 0 Posted October 20, 2004 oops, I should have made my self a little clearer (I got interupted when I made that first post). I already am running sms. I was looking at MOM but to me it looks like it is aimed at managing just the servers mainly right now. What I want is a program that I can open up and tell me the status of any desktop system. I want to see what one are off-line, error conditions, remote reboot, boot, and shutdown (through wake on lan nics), etc. It would be really nice it they could also monitor my servers like MOM can (I run sql, exchange, isa, sms + standard windows server services like dns, ad, dhcp, etc). I really want to try to stay away from increasing my usage of local system resources on my machines (sms kills some of my desktops with the amount of ram it uses, almost 12 mb at some times). This is a school enviroment that is spread between 4 buildings (linked by fiber and/or wireless). I think I will look into Sitekeeper and VMC/Radmin. ws6 Share this post Link to post
