ok, i completly love the sims 2 and the whole idea for ageing and stuff... but is thee anyway to turn of the 3-d stuff? i just can't play it cuz i get so frusturated cuz it keeps moving around.

if i turn the scroll-edge off, that doesn't help either it just stops it in that position and you can't move around. PLZ HELP ME!

turn off the 3-d engine so it will be more like the sims (the original)?

im sure this is very impossible to do..

Nope, can't be done. There's a reference card in the box that has keyboard commands, it's much easier to navigate with a combination of keys and mouse movements.

I'm having problems with the Sims 2. The game works fine until you move into a house. When the house loads up i'm zoomed way ouy into the sky and i can only just see the house. I can't zoom in. I'm using a Radeon 9600 pro graphics card and meet all the other specs. Can anyone help me please?

Hi i have the sims and it's worked really well. but see 2 days ago i inserted the boolProps TestingCheatsEnabled true cheat code and i think i entered it wrong and the game got weird. The one University hairstyle that was accesable to my man sim was no longer there and when you go to the needs bar all the lables are blank except for the top which just says NEEDS, and when you click on a want or a fear on the top it just says #### missing information or something like that. it doesn't give me any information on how to do it. could the cheat have been the problem? because i've intered it before and it worked fine. Whats wrong with my game and how can i fix it?? PLEASE...SOME ONE HELP ME!!!

We can't really help you with gameplay specific problems, we are more of a "Get game to work" site than a "I have a problem building houses, creating a character, etc etc" site.
